Join us at National Trust’s Ickworth on November 14th and 15th where we will be helping to make its November ‘Light Nights’ event more accessible by loaning mobility scooters and wheelchair powerpacks.
‘Ickworth’s Light Nights’ provide the opportunity to enjoy an evening stroll around the Estate with its ancient woodland and historic buildings illuminated in colourful displays. Visitors will be able to soak up an enchanting atmosphere as they weave through canopies of trees, Italianate evergreens and Gothic Victorian-esque stumpery.
We are absolutely delighted to be supporting the team at Ickworth as they push for greater accessibility at this amazing estate and the events they hold. As a National Trust property close to us, we are very proud that a fleet of Breeze scooters has been helping people to explore the paths and trails around the park for some years. Many struggle to walk the distances and need a bit of help to get around in comfort and being able to do so is so important for health and wellbeing.
We will be working in partnership with Ickworth to increase availability of scooters and wheelchairs for accessible evenings during the upcoming Light Nights event meaning that not even a night-time wander through the gardens illuminated by spectacular lighting need be off-limits. We look forward to lending a hand and seeing more people experience this amazing event.
After seeing the magical light displays, visitors borrowing the TGA scooters and wheelchair powerpacks will also benefit from easier access to Ickworth’s West Wing for late night shopping and warming seasonal refreshment.
Visitors can choose to reserve a TGA mobility scooter or wheelchair powerpack when purchasing an event ticket.
